Junk removal questions
Do I need to bring my junk to the curb?
No. We carry items out from wherever they are, including basements, attics, upper floors, garages and backyards. You only need to show us what's going. Heavy and awkward pieces, like a sleeper sofa or an old chest freezer, are our job, not yours.
What can't you take?
We don't take paint, fuel, tires or asbestos. That includes gasoline, propane tanks and heating oil, plus other hazardous waste like solvents, chemicals and medical waste. Your town household hazardous waste day takes most of those. If you're not sure about an item, text us a photo before the pickup.
Where does my junk go?
We take every load to the transfer station or a licensed disposal facility, and the dump fees are part of your price. Nothing gets left at the curb or dumped where it shouldn't be, and you never have to haul anything yourself or buy a sticker for the town drop-off.
Do I have to be home for the pickup?
Not always. If the items are outside or in an open garage, we can do the pickup while you're away and let you know when it's done. For anything inside the house, someone needs to let us in or arrange access with a lockbox.
