What we take
We pick up old mattresses and box springs from homes in Dedham, Eastern Massachusetts and the South Shore. The crew carries them out of the bedroom, down the stairs and onto the truck.
Since November 1, 2022, Massachusetts has banned mattresses and box springs from the trash, so your town trash pickup won't take them. We take them to a licensed facility that accepts them. Each mattress or box spring carries an $85 fee on top of the load price.
Bed frames, headboards and futons can go in the same trip. A mattress and box spring usually fit in our smallest load size.

Can I put a mattress in the trash in Massachusetts?

Do you take box springs and bed frames too?
Yes. Box springs, metal and wood bed frames, headboards and futons all go in the same trip. We take apart frames that are too big for the stairs. A mattress and box spring together usually fit in our smallest load size, which keeps a single bedroom pickup simple.
Do you take mattresses from upstairs bedrooms?
Yes. We carry mattresses and box springs down from any floor, including tight turns on old staircases, and we protect the walls on the way. Point us to the room and leave the bed where it is. You don't have to move anything before the crew arrives.
How many mattresses can you take in one trip?
As many as you have. Each mattress or box spring takes truck space and adds an $85 fee, so tell us how many when you call. We confirm the price for all of them before loading, and they go to a licensed facility, never into the trash.
