What we take
We haul away old refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves and other appliances from homes in Dedham, Eastern Massachusetts and the South Shore. The crew carries them out of the kitchen, laundry room or basement and loads them on the truck.
Massachusetts doesn't allow large appliances in the trash, so we take them to a licensed facility that accepts them. Anything with refrigerant, like a fridge, a freezer or an AC unit, carries an $85 fee on top of the load price.
Have the gas or water lines disconnected before we arrive. Once an appliance is unhooked, we take it from there.

Appliance Removal questions
Do you take old refrigerators and freezers?
Yes. Fridges and freezers contain refrigerant, so each one carries an $85 fee on top of the load price, and we take it to a licensed facility. Please empty out any food first, and unplug a freezer the day before so it can defrost and stay dry on the way out.
Will you disconnect my washer, dryer or stove?
No, we don't disconnect gas or water lines. Have a plumber or the installer shut off and cap a gas dryer or stove, and turn off the water to a washer. Once the appliance is unhooked, we carry it out, load it and haul it away.
Do you take old water heaters?
Yes. Drained tank water heaters are a regular pickup. Disconnecting gas or water lines is a job for a plumber, so have the heater drained and disconnected before we arrive. We carry it out of the basement, load it and haul it to a licensed disposal facility.
Where do the appliances you remove go?
Every appliance goes to the transfer station or a licensed disposal facility. Fridges, freezers and AC units hold refrigerant, so each one carries an $85 fee and goes to a licensed facility that accepts it. You don't have to arrange any of it yourself, and nothing is left at the curb.
